In and out of hospitals, absolutely destroyed respiratory system. And for what felt like an eternity, we didn't know if she would survive it or not. Later still in the year, my sister contacted COVID-19. But what rocked me to my very core was seeing my dad break down into sobs over the death of his father, I had never seen him so emotional before, certainly never seen him cry. He was solely responsibilites for all the practical knowledge I had. He was the man who taught me how to drive, how to build things, how to take care of plants. Later in the year, I found out that my grandfather had gotten Leukemia, and he died shortly afterwards. He died in a car wreck due to a drunk driver, and I just remembered feeling so much rage, like I would never recover and I was ready to kill someone. One day, in 2020, I found out during class that David had died, and at first I didn't understand what that meant, cuz up until then, I hadn't lost someone before. Every time I saw or talked to him, my day got a little bit brighter, and he had that effect on a lot of people. I had a friend, and I didn't know him for very long, about a year or two, his name was David.
